Restaurant Review: Dragon Legend

Eating Can be Legend!

Several months ago, I celebrated Christmas with my family at a new buffet called Dragon Legend. It opened last fall, and ever since the first time I went there, I've always been wanting to go back. In case you haven't heard of this buffet, it is owned by the same company as a popular buffet called Dragon Pearl. Together, these 2 eateries showcase the best Chinese and Japanese style comfort food in all of GTA!

Perfect, juicy honey glazed chicken wings...  Mouth watering Korean-style BBQ steak... Fresh sushi, with tender, smoked salmon... Crispy, fried pork spring rolls... Tantalizing, roasted Peking Duck... There really isn't much I can say about the variety of food offered other than - It tastes absolutely DELICIOUS! For all of you with a sweet tooth, don't worry, because creamy, chocolate rolls and flaky butter-cream cakes will definitely fill your appetite. If you're more on the spicy side, try out the spicy stir-fry eggplant; and of course, if you crave for those deep-fried goodies, seasoned chicken balls and flavorful french fries are guaranteed to put you in a good mood. In my opinion, the Peking Duck is by far the number one dish available. I absolutely adore the savory flavor of the crispy skin, infused with the delicate combination of juicy, smoked BBQ duck. At Dragon Legend, there is an endless supply of food for literally every occasion!

One of my favorite parts of the buffet is the "Noodle Hut". There, you can request your favorite type of noodle - beef noodle, spicy noodle, stir-fry noodle, soup noodles - and hundreds of more combinations. Unlike any other buffet, the chefs at the station will custom cook your noodles the way you like it, all from scratch! As for myself, I have already tried many types of noodles there, and after each time, I find myself dreaming about the heavenly, fresh aroma of steamy noodles combined with exquisite flavor. If you love noodles, you are definitely in for a treat!

Out of all buffets in Toronto, Dragon Legend is by far the best for parties, celebrations, or special occasions. The decor of the hall, furniture, and even the building itself are absolutely stunning! Customer service is also excellent for buffet standards. If you decide to eat there on your birthday or anniversary, let the staff know and they will prepare a special surprise for you! Furthermore, luxury VIP rooms are available for reservation at no extra charge. On holidays, you can be sure that there will be a discount. In addition, if you decide to enjoy a dinner buffet at night, there are often surprise concerts or live performances! Eating at Dragon Legend will add a unique touch to your special occasion!

The location of the Dragon is 25 Lanark Rd. near Highway 7 and the 404, making it relatively convenient for diners. The buffet is also located near Costco Wholesale in Markham.

Overall, I would give this a buffet a rating of 9.5 out of 10. The only minor drawback is a slightly higher price, however top-notch service, special events, excellent decor, and divine food that will excite your taste buds are definitely worth it!  By now you must be hungry, so on May 10, surprise your mom with a Mother's Day meal she won't forget at Dragon Legend Buffet. I'm sure she'll love it! Go ahead and reward your stomach an evening of unforgettable pleasure; eating can be legend!

Enjoy!
